Confirmed COVID-19 Cases In India
Confirmed coronavirus cases in India shot well past the 16,000 mark today, Health Ministry data updated at 8 am showed.
Globally, the number of coronavirus cases is now at 23,33,941. On 21st March, the death toll reported was around 11,875 globally which has now reached 1,60,820. Recovered cases are 6,00,411 as of now.
Globally, the number of Active cases are still 15,72,710, out of which 15,17,440 (96%) are in mild condition and 55,270 (4%) are in serious or critical condition.
On 18th April, Saturday, 2,013 new cases are reported due to which the number of total cases in India stands at 16,365 at the moment.
On 21st March, the total number Of confirmed coronavirus cases in India was 294 and after the 29 days, it reached 16,365 cases.
In India, 35 new deaths are reported on 18th April, Saturday due to which the number of total deaths in the country stands at 521 at the moment.
While 2,463 have been listed as cured/discharged/migrated. It means Active cases are still 13,381.
As of 9 pm yesterday, a total of 3,72,123 samples from 3,54,969 individuals had been tested for the virus, according to the latest data at the ICMR (Indian Council of Medical Research) website.
During his address to the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged citizens to use the Aarogya Setu App to track COVID-19.
Also on 13th April, India’s 300 districts were affected by COVID-19, out of which 140 fell under the Hot Spot Category.
